Riyadh – Mubasher: Etihad GO Telecom Company has obtained a Level 2 Managed Security Operations Center (MSOC) services license from the National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA) of Saudi Arabia.
The license authorizes the telecommunications provider to deliver specialized cybersecurity monitoring and management services for a five-year term, according to a bourse filing.
This regulatory milestone is expected to significantly bolster GO Telecom’s technical service capabilities and strengthen its competitive position within the Saudi digital services sector.
The newly granted license is effective from the day of receipt on 14 May 2026, and will remain in force until 2031.
GO Telecom will be allowed to operate as a Level 2 provider of managed security operations, a designation that requires the company to adhere to rigorous technical and regulatory standards.
The authority’s licensing framework is designed to ensure that service providers maintain high levels of efficiency and quality while implementing approved cybersecurity standards to protect the Kingdom’s digital infrastructure.
From a commercial perspective, GO Telecom expects the new license to act as a catalyst for business growth during the coming period. The ability to offer Level 2 MSOC services allows the firm to expand its service portfolio and capture new opportunities within the telecommunications, information technology, and digital services markets.
By strengthening its presence in the cybersecurity field, the company intends to solidify its standing as a comprehensive provider of digital solutions in an increasingly security-conscious market.
It is worth noting that the Saudi telecom operator rebranded in late 2025 to enhance its technical capabilities.
